We are a University of Manchester Students’ Union society - an organisation established by students, for students. Our aim is to stimulate political interest and participation amongst students at the University of Manchester.
We are currently in our third year of full activity, establishing ourselves as a service through which students from all courses can pursue any political interest.
The Politics Society does not have a political agenda. We do not follow a distinct ideology or aim to support any particular political view point.
We are neutral in our capacities as members of the Politics Society committee and are committed to ensuring that our personal political views do not affect our activity at the society level.
We hope to foster a balance of political views and encourage participation from all groups.
